For luxury design firm Essentia Environments, based in Gurugram, luxury is an embodiment of grace; a modern and sophisticated yet elegant luxury. And their latest residential project showcases it perfectly with grace.

Located in the upscale DLF Camelias in Gurugram, the project is a spacious 3-bedroom apartment spanning 7,400 square feet. Drawing inspiration from an elegant neutral base, the project uses a diverse palette of materials and textures, sported by high-end fittings. .
Sleek and luxurious, the interiors border on minimal aesthetics showcasing the home theme. Sparkling with symmetrical elements and patterns, the apartment has a split dark and light theme spread throughout the space. Among the many materials, marble and veneer were widely used, making the space luxurious and extravagant.

One of the largest spaces in the house is the family living room, which features mostly neutral and bright hues. Soft colors like beige, white and cream, the tones are complemented by striking golden elements. A pair of towering chandeliers, suspended from the ceiling, add a touch of originality to the strictly contemporary space, while a set of bright blue armchairs bring a splash of color.

A box-shaped feature, bounded by sliding glass doors with a gold design, separates the living room and dining area. The glass door feature is a smart use of space and is perfect for intimate private meals. Furnished with cream leather seats and a dark marble table, it maintains the living room’s neutral color story. Adding opulence to the dining room is another crystal chandelier.

contemporary styling
The bedrooms are all spacious and have en-suite bathrooms. Two of the three bedrooms have a cool gray theme, while the guest bedroom is painted in warm shades of cream and brown. Rooms are accented with striking wall art and decorative pieces that break up the dark contemporary look, while adding a touch of elegance and style.

One of the notable designs in each bedroom is an artistically crafted wall. While the master bedroom plays with gray veneer planks, the guest bedroom has a plush leather wall combined with brown veneer and gold veneer accents.

The all-white kitchen is another highlight of the apartment. Extremely modern in style, the kitchen has a clean and simplistic design, with everything within easy reach. The best of technology presents itself here with modern kitchen equipment.

A design canvas
One can notice a clever use of statement pieces and custom designs spread throughout the apartment. Essentia Environments founders Hardesh and Monica Chawla see the home as a canvas for beautiful creations. “The house is a canvas for the finest materials, exquisite furnishings, custom designed and created by us, and original, eye-catching artwork. From an imposing entrance and lavish yet warm living spaces, each space defines the personality of the owners.

Soliciting the materials, the designers add: “We use an eclectic mix of materials – a range of quality marbles, wood veneers, metallic accents. The same stone has been used throughout the apartment for the flooring, while the bathrooms have been designed using different stone tones and themes.
